About The Chic Dossier

The Chic Dossier has always been about creating something by hand that makes another person feel something.

It started with paper.

For years, I created greeting cards, albums and hand made pieces centered around connection, beauty and the little details that make something feel personal, and people feel special.

And then I started playing with texture.

One experiment led to another. Paint got thicker. Flowers started coming off the canvas. I began mixing materials, breaking the rules and figuring out what would happen if I stopped worrying so much about what I was supposed to make.

Turns out, that’s where magic started happening.

Today, The Chic Dossier is becoming home to my original dimensional artwork: highly textured, botanical-inspired pieces created with layers of paint and sculptural materials, unexpected details and whatever else I decide needs to become part of the piece.

Some are quiet. Some are moody. Some are a little sassy and feral.

They are all made by hand, and no two will ever be exactly alike.

The paper goods that started this whole thing are still part of the story. But this space is growing right along with me.

I’m pretty excited to see what comes next.
